Labor Day News: Paid Sick Days For Federal Contractors!

As workers across the country celebrated Labor Day yesterday, President Obama issued a new executive order to add even more joy to the festivities. Under his instructions, more than 300,000 federal contractors who do not currently have paid sick days will be able to earn sick time to care for themselves and their family members. But that's not all! In addition to the release of a new report, The Cost of Doing Nothing, President Obama also called on Congress to pass the Healthy Families Act and the FAMILY Act, which would let workers earn paid sick days and paid family leave.
